"Judith Barr presented a workshop for Conifer Park's Grand Round Series entitled "Surrender: What Does It Mean?" This workshop was intended to be experiential in nature and provide professionals in the field of chemical dependency with a truer understanding of surrender. This format of experiencing rather than intellectualizing is new for the series and emphasis was placed on this difference in the flyer.
The evaluations reflected a positive experience for those who attended, one that appeared to touch participants on a deep spiritual level. Judith's ability to develop and provide a safe and sacred space was evident throughout her presentation and allowed individuals the freedom for inner reflection and self examination.
