Thank you for the precious and inspiring event. It made me and my colleagues from work reflect on what bullying is in a fresh way … a different way … It was even more to think about than the previous, similar web conference ”There is a Bully in All of Us” where I first came into contact with your work …
I was truly amazed at the depth of the definition of bullying that you refer too. What most struck me, of course, was the name: “There is a Bully in All of Us”.
Wait a minute, I thought … an unpleasant thought crossed my mind … it would mean that there is a bully in me too! …

Thank you, again, for giving us such a wonderful workshop. Everyone loved it. You are truly captivating! That's the word I have been searching for all day. You had everyone's attention - and more! If you ever want to come back and do "part 2" as the woman said, we'd love to have you.

I wanted to thank you again for coming to present at my class. I enjoyed it very much and was glad I was able to see you present finally. I know that it wasn't a full training but I feel that it was a valuable lesson for my students as well as myself. I just wanted to let you know that I had a dream last night with three negative past experiences that were all related to my early decision! I didn't even think of these while you were presenting but clearly my unconscious was working! I think I need to go explore these more.

Judith Barr has helped me to explore and heal areas in my inner-landscape where I had been stuck. She had a depth and inner wisdom allowing her to hone in on what is truly the root issue from early childhood and to communicate the truth of it in a compassionate and open-hearted manner such that I could hear without being defended. The depth of Judith's presence has allowed me to feel safe enough to explore where I needed to. In a group setting I have witnessed Judith speak in such a way that every person could personally relate to what was being presented and every person felt she was speaking and connected only to them. I whole-heartedly recommend Judith for anyone looking to do their deep inner-work for healing what's holding them back from living life to the fullest.

Judith is a gifted and conscious healer who brings to her work a big heart, a clear and focused mind, and great awareness & care to the therapeutic relationship. An engaging and thought provoking speaker, Judith offers profound wisdom and deep insight into how our past experiences and early decisions can shape lives, for better and for worse, and without grandiosity, how therapy can change the world. As an advocate for therapists becoming conscious of their use of power, Judith "walks the talk" - her therapy work demonstrates her clear sense of ethics, selflessness, and sensitivity to the power differential. Judith is one of those rare therapists with the experience and skill to safely guide a person into the abyss and back again, achieving great healing and change.

There is no one who can hold your attention like Judith. When she reads a selection from her book, I can sense the lives behind the story. When Judith discusses her work with power abuse, I hear and feel her passion. Her deep desire to help us discover the roots of our own potential abuse is clear. She helps us realize that we have all had some childhood experience that shapes the way we interact with others. Whether we are the person in power or the object of another’s power, the roots of our past influence the nature of our present-day actions and responses. Judith helps us to look within for our own childhood experiences with power abuse and leads us to healing. Judith says that each of us who heal contribute to a healed world. If you have the opportunity to attend one her talks—don’t miss it!

Judith Barr is a teacher and therapist of the highest caliber with an ability to gently reach into the tender inner world of her students and clients allowing them to feel into their inner life and safely explore and bring to awareness experiences and feelings that have been tucked away.
As a participant in a recent money workshop with Judith, I began to understand on a much deeper level what my relationship with money is and how that relationship is a product of having transferred my early relationships with my parents onto my relationship with money. Understanding this brings feelings from your unconscious into your awareness where you can then process and heal your self and reach your greatest potential.

Judith's writing gives readers a new lens to see current national and international issues through, expanding understanding of power, oppression, and what living with compassion and empathy looks like. She has a deep understanding of the human condition and shares her insight on how to transcend adversity. Her wisdom is shared articulately, poetically, and with grace that has both awed our readers and awakened them to their own inner world.

A person’s belief about money has more to do with their financial planning than any other item or issue. Your work is vitally important to all in the planning community. I am sure our listeners were challenged to explore their inner thoughts and beliefs about money. Thank you for your time and insight.

The first time I met Judith I felt a certain calm. That was before she spoke a word. Judith has a very comforting presence that makes you feel at ease right away. After being in the room with Judith for 5 minutes, I felt like I had known her for years. I had the feeling that she knew me and was going to help me.
Judith was lecturing to a small group at Dina Khader's office about our relationship with food. I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Judith's carefully chosen words are powerful.
Judith got us to think back at our childhood and how we sometimes would use food as a crutch. Many in the room acknowledged that they used certain foods as a substitute for an absent mother or an abusive father. The net result of these childhood experiences was often an obesity problem that could not be resolved through diet alone. Judith showed us how she slowly helps the patient peel the different levels of emotions just like layers of onion skin.
The process is slow and deliberate. Judith's involvement is that of a guide, helping the patient uncover their own true self.
At the event, there were some people who volunteered to work in the group and some who felt too shy. At the end of our meeting, there was a lot of introspection. After a couple of days, we got to hear from some of the attendees. The reaction overall was very positive. For those who did not feel at ease discussing their issues in public, we suggested they try and see Judith one on one.
For those who have some deep-seated emotional trauma, I believe that Judith can help them accept themselves as worthy individuals, yes, worthy of loving themselves. Worthy of stopping their self-destructive behavior.

Judith’s presentation at Sacred Heart University’s Ryan-Matura Library was inspirational and enlightening. Judith used stories to connect with the audience on how different items and people are used for fulfilling needs based on unresolved past experiences. One of the stories centered on how a child’s need for its mother and how not getting enough from those needs will eventually manifest itself into other psychological needs in his/her future life. She showed the audience how this is also true with the relationship people have with money, therefore placing much power on the inanimate
object, not fulfilling the need of enough. Her methods and explanations on how these needs manifest themselves seemed to strike a chord with the audience where there was interaction for further clarification and understanding.
